Global Innovative Subsidiary Admitted to China's Energy Management Company Association

Global Innovative Systems Inc. (OTC BB: GBSY) announced today that its wholly owned subsidiary, Tech Team Development (Zhuhai) Limited ("TTZ"), has been admitted as a member of EMCA, China's energy management company association.

EMCA is a non-profit organization whose mandate is to support the growth and proliferation of energy management companies ("EMCs") throughout China, and to introduce, demonstrate and promote the financing concept of energy performance contracting ("EPC"). EMCA supports its member EMCs through training, financial, technical and marketing assistance.

The key element of financial support offered by EMCA is access to the EMC Loan Guarantee Component of the Phase II World Bank / Global Environment Facility China Energy Conservation Project. This is a loan guarantee program geared towards energy savings projects in the commercial and industrial sectors. Through the program, EMCA members can apply to receive guarantees of up to 90% of the value of bank loans they employ to finance energy savings projects.
TTZ completed the membership admission process and was admitted as a member of EMCA on March 28, 2005. The admission process required TTZ to satisfy numerous criteria, including meeting a minimum capital requirement, prior experience and completion of a training program related to the structure and use of EPC, and sponsorship by an EMCA committee member.

"We were pleased with TTZ's success in gaining entry to EMCA, the principal energy savings industry association in China," said Bondy Tan, President and Chief Executive Officer of Global Innovative. "This membership is expected to facilitate TTZ's access to financing for new energy savings projects by tapping into the loan guarantee program and other support services which EMCA provides its members."

EMC Loan Guarantee Component of the Phase II World Bank / Global Environment Facility China Energy Conservation Project was launched in November 2003, and is slated to operate until November 2010. Funding for the project is provided by the World Bank / Global Environment Facility, and the program is administered by the China National Investment and Guaranty Co. The fund expects to support at least US$250 million of loan guarantees over the life of the program, and its loan guarantee target for 2005 is US$75 million.
