Global Innovative Completes Successful Testing of Its Eco-Pro(TM) T5 Fluorescent Lamps With the City of Richmond

Global Innovative Systems Inc. (OTC BB: GBSY) announced today that it has completed a successful energy savings verification test of its Eco-Pro(TM) T5 fluorescent lamps with the City of Richmond, British Columbia, Canada.

The pilot test program consisted of a one-day field trial on June 21, 2005 conducted jointly by the City Of Richmond's Facility Management, Maintenance & Operations division and Tech Team Development Limited ("TTD"), a wholly owned subsidiary of Global Innovative. The purpose of the test was to measure and verify the performance and energy consumption profile of TTD's Eco-Pro(TM) T5 fluorescent lamps versus originally fitted T12 fluorescent lamps operating in most City of Richmond facilities.

Testing was conducted at an office facility of the City of Richmond on a section of ceiling lighting that was operating with twelve 34W T12 fluorescent lamps. In the first phase of the test program, the twelve original fluorescent lamps were replaced by twelve Eco-Pro(TM) 28W T5 fluorescent lamps. Performance was measured in terms of electricity usage and luminosity. The results of the first phase of the test indicated an electricity savings rate of 14.9% and increased luminosity of 20.8% from the operation of the Eco-Pro(TM) T5 fluorescent lamps versus the originally fitted T12 fluorescent lamps.

In the second phase of the test, the twelve original fluorescent lamps were replaced by eight Eco-Pro(TM) 28W T5 fluorescent lamps. The results of the second phase of the test indicated an electricity savings rate of 42.9% and a decrease in luminosity of 14.0% from the operation of the Eco-Pro(TM) T5 fluorescent lamps versus the originally-fitted T12 fluorescent lamps. However, the reduction in luminosity was not detectable by visual sight and was verified by a City of Richmond test participant to be well within the acceptable level of luminosity.

"This test program verifies that our Eco-Pro(TM) T5 fluorescent lamps can significantly reduce the electricity consumption and cost of fluorescent lighting for the City of Richmond," said Andrew Mak, Senior Project Manager of TTD. "Our Eco-Pro(TM) T5 fluorescent lamps are the next generation in fluorescent lighting. Our products incorporate the latest technologies, enabling our clients to receive superior performance while consuming less electricity than traditional fluorescent lights."

"We are very pleased with the results of this test with the City of Richmond," said Bondy Tan, President and CEO of Global Innovative. "Based on the successful results, we intend to enter into discussions with the City of Richmond for the potential widespread installation of Eco-Pro(TM) T5 fluorescent lamps, and other energy savings solutions, throughout their facilities. We estimate to supply a minimum of 100,000 pieces for their total premises, with estimated price of CAD32 per unit, resulting in estimated revenue of CAD3.2 million."

The City of Richmond is a community of over 177,750 people located within Greater Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. Richmond strives to be to the most appealing, livable and well-managed community in Canada, and has been the recipient of numerous awards for management and innovation. Richmond has a wide variety of recreational, cultural and heritage facilities, including pools, arenas, community centers, tennis courts, running tracks and playing fields.
